Dear Pam,
First off, I want to say how much I am saddened by the news of your health condition. When I heard the news I began to pray for you and asked God to give you comfort and peace in the midst of this not so good news. I want to say how much you and Brad have been so instrumental in my walk with Jesus by your example of prayers and faith displayed.
I do remember all of the good time we had and can recall the dinners we had and all of the short trips we took, especially the ones we took to your condo in the Ozarks. Also the simple times we spent at your place (apartments, houses, farm and tree farm) just to name a few.
One (foul) memory I would like to forget was the awful smell we had in your van that turned out to be a forgotten chicken left in the back of the van for God knows how long, we all could not stop laughing over that one.
Even in the hard times, and God knows our family had a lot of them, there you were with Brad to help us through them all by loving us, praying for us, helping us any way you could. Our family would not be as strong today if it were not for your and Brad’s care and love for us.
With my heart attack and stroke I have been very conscious what life has offered me and how important family and friends are, with that said, you have been my friend for most of my life and that brings a smile to my face.
Love, your friend forever, Dr Dave
