This woman was a second mom to me for so many years of my life. I love her so much!!
As a kid, I stayed “at the Greer’s” more weekends than I could count. Ben (Benoni) and I were inseparable for so long. From the days of elementary school and the weekends-at-a-time spent riding bikes (as the Wyld Harts) …all the way through our high school days. Ben was as close as any brother could be. I love you, man!
And he’s not my only emotional and lasting connection to the Greer family. While Ben and I were closer in age, his older brother, Heath, and I have grown closer in the past few years due to mutual interests and mutual business pursuits.
Plus, I’ll never forget going from a healthy fear of Mr. Greer (aka: Brad) — to a loving respect for him, too.
The Greer Family means so much to me and so majy memories are tied to them.
When I grew up, I’ll never forget the day Pam said, “You’re an adult now. You know you don’t need to call me ‘Mrs. Greer’ anymore…”
(that was a weird switch for me… 🤣)
Pamela, your journey has been incredible, and your life has left an indelible print on mine. You are a warrior, a saint, one of my “moms,” and you will forever live in my heart.
May flights of angels send thee to thy rest, Mom.
